Reaching us

We are in Preggio, a wonderful tiny village embedded between Tuscany and Trasimeno Lake, in Umbria. The easiest way to reach us is with the help of one of the several map-services available online, hereby you find a few example preconfigured with Preggio as a destination, you only have to type in your departure city.

If you already know how to reach the village of Preggio, finding the Agriturismo Preggio is really easy and straightforward:

  • reaching the “centre” :-) of Preggio, you’ll have a square on your right;Â take left descending and passing in front of the Bar, follow the u-turn surrounding homes and church and then proceed in the countryside
  • after almost 1 km. the paved road ends, and becomes gravel road
  • after 1,5 km more of gravel road you’re arrived, the sign “Preggio Azienda Agricola” is on your left
  • from the square of Preggio it’s roughly 2,5 km.

Coming from North, trough A1 Milano – Roma:

  • Leave the highway A1 Firenze-Roma at “Valdichiana Bettolle”
  • Take the free-way direction “Perugia”
  • Exit at “Passignano EST”
  • Follow signs to “Castel Rigone”
  • The scenic road climbs trough the hills, reach and cross Castel Rigone proceeding on the main road (in direction of Umbertide)
  • A few km. after Castel Rigone you get a fork, take left to “Preggio”
  • Reach the tiny village of Preggio (since you left Passignano EST it’s roughly 17 Km).

Coming from North, trough E45 Cesena – Roma:

  • Leave the highway Bologna-Ancona at “Cesena” and follow the free-way E45 in direction of Roma
  • After the exit “Città di Castello sud”, leave the free-way at “PROMANO” and follow the state road pointing to “Umbertide”
  • After 6/7 km from the Promano exit, turn right direction “Mercatale/Tuoro” (Lisciano Niccone)
  • After 10 km or so you’ll find on the left the street sign to “Preggio”, that you’ll reach after further 7 km.

Coming from South, trough A1 Roma – Milano:

  • Leave Rome pointing north, following for “Firenze”
  • On the highway A1 Roma-Firenze, exit at “Orte”
  • Follow road signs for “Perugia”
  • You’ll be driving of the free-way (4 lane) heading to “Perugia”
  • In proximity of Perugia, do not enter in town, rather follow indications for “Firenze” (still on a 4 lane free-way)
  • On the free-way exit at “Torricella”
  • Follow signs for “Castel Rigone”
  • The scenic road climbs trough the hills, reach and cross Castel Rigone proceeding on the main road (in direction of Umbertide)
  • A few km. after Castel Rigone you get a fork, take left to “Preggio”
  • Reach the tiny village of Preggio (since you left Torricella it’s roughly 16 Km).
